Dr. Swope and the staff at Sweet Home Veterinary Hospital are the absolute BEST! I have been taking my cats to them for a few years now and have been so happy with their care and compassion for them, and for me. Yesterday, I took in 2 Senior cats that I recently adopted (foster fail!) that are considered semi-feral. Dr. Swope was amazing and handled them beautifully, even clipping the nails of one of them herself so she wouldn't have to be put back in the carrier, taken to the back, and taken out again by the vet techs. I am so grateful to Dr. Swope and the staff. They are reasonably priced compared to every other vet I have been to in the last 30 years, and a few times, were able to fit me in quickly when I was worried about the health of one of by cats. Oh, and one time I found a dog on my street and they were able to trace the chip to a neighbor, helping to reunite the pet with her family! I can't recommend Dr. Swope and Sweet Home enough!

We’ve had our family pets go here for years! The vets are so kind, transparent, and have saved our family so much money in comparison to bigger vet hospitals. When we had to put our first family dog down, they were so caring and empathetic with us, it truly made such a difference.

We are happy to move our entire pet family to Sweet Home. We are next door in Burbank and feel like we found a place that is kind to our pets, sometimes we feel that pet care can be a luxury and we have found a way to communicate well about our pet needs and be generally friendly to our wallet.

We brought our dog in at the last minute this morning to remove a foxtail from an ear. This is our 1st time with Sweet Home as we are now in a new area after our home was destroyed in the Eaton Fire. Dr Swope and all of her staff were incredible in their care and their kindness to us. Her thoughtfulness in her treatment left our dog comfortable in what has historically been a stressful time when he has to see the vet. I HIGHLY recommend Sweet Home

There's only one thing I can say about this place, Only top-notch vets here. They perform miracles here every day! Miracles cost money so don't think you're going to get out of this cheap because treating an animal is just as expensive as treating a human. the fact that they can keep costs down as low as they are even though they're not low in most peoples perspective. when you get the bill it's like ouch! But cutting something open that's alive keeping it alive and repairing the damage or whatever the situation may be is expensive. So the question isn't how much does it cost but where can I go to get the best possible care for my animal! And this is definitely one of those places you will get the best possible care and again it's not going to be cheap. They treat animals here better than human doctors treat humans,! They saved my animal from a broken leg! They were able to take a nasty compound fracture and make it so you can't even notice! If it wasn't for the scar you wouldn't even know that it once had a severely broken leg. Like I said these people perform miracles and miracles are not cheap but we'll worth it!!!

I would recommend this place to anybody who lives in North Hollywood or Burbank. They are very friendly and take care of my cat with the utmost of care.
